INFORMATION OF INTEREST
Insurances:
* Home Owners Warranty insurance supplied by Vero Pty Limited through HIA insurances
* Builders/Contractors All Risk Insurance and covers your property during the building stage
* Public and Products Liability insurance and both limits $20m
* Workers Compensation insurance coverage in both NSW and ACT
Warranties:
* 10 year structural guarantee
* All appliances are covered by 12 month warranty
* 90 Day maintenance period from date of practical completion
Quality Assurance:
* We choose to use local business and support the Canberra economy wherever possible
* All appliances/ products used meet Australian Standards
* All building works are carried out to the National Building Code of Australia or above we don't skimp on materials
* We choose to use only the best in the business and local professional trades who offer the same high level of service that we do
Project Management:
* Regular on site meetings with clients
* Regular site clean-ups (all work) and a professional clean upon completion (new homes only)
* All council or building regulator inspection notices available to owner upon request and we don't hide anything from you!
* All projects are overseen by Paul and Michele the builders who own the business
* We have an experienced foreman who works alongside us and is our eyes and ears on the ground and he reports back to us on a daily basis.
* We are only an email or phone call away and appreciate regular correspondence with/from clients.
Construction Time:
* We discuss the construction plan with you at signing of contracts and on a regular basis during the construction period and you will always know what is going on.
* We pride ourselves on our communication
* We are very conscious of disruption to your daily lives and keep that disruption minimal wherever possible
* We set realistic contract time frames in place to keep the disruption minimal
* We co-ordinate trades well in advance so that your project runs smoothly rather than having long waiting periods for trades to appear
* We use the same regular trades so they look after ours and your best interests during the construction period
OH & S:
* All our trades people by law are holders of a white card and know their responsibilities to OH & S regulations
* We only use OH & S approved scaffolding materials and installer
* We like to keep your home safe during construction so OH & S is a very high priority.
Construction Services:
* We supply a site toilet where necessary
* All rubbish is removed from site via mini skips and where possible we recycle
* We appreciate access to water and power if possible but on new homes we allow for this service via portable or on site facilities
Cleaning:
* We ask that all trades regularly clean up at completion of their work
* We do regular site clean-ups as we appreciate that this is your home
* We allow for a professional cleaning service to clean your new home or extension including windows inside and out
